Day 62- The road to happiness may be as the rabbit chasing the carrot

Meeting this guy remind me that there's a lot of people happy with what they just have, living in a city, exposed to merchandising make's us forget what happiness is about, they first make us feel empty or the empty us, then they fill that space with desire, desire for things, status, etc. and sometimes it looks quite clear that what we need to be happy is to get that something, but then once we achieve that, the space is quickly replaced with desire of something else, just like a racing dog, chasing a rabbit they'll never get, always thinking tit's so close. His name is Arturo, he's a real mexican cowboy, lives in a small room, and just loves the way he is, where he lives, and he probably owns just the clothes he's wearing. Nice fellow.

By the way, this is the picture for yesterday, taken yesterday, and communications, technology reach, and being in a really nice place, in a ranch in the countryside, out of cell coverage, is the reason why I didn't got my picture uploaded yesterday, i have no regrets, and I can happily support Sharon.

Day 58- The False Prophet

Everyone knows ( i think) that buying new photogear, won't make you any better, you obviously need some basic equipment, for some type of pictures, I believe that eacj picture has an specific arrange of things to happen, like a certain camera, with a certain lens, certain lighting, and some other stuff, but, it's also true that you can improve faster not having things and being creative on how you shoot to achieve a certain look with what you have. But sometimes it's nice to just flow and cheat yourself allowing you to buy something, this is the case of a background support, that I'm just trying out (I had a homemade one that it's drilled to my ceiling, but this one i can take anywhere. So try number 1 on white seamless.

how it was shot?
2 nikon sb-800 at 1/16 aim at 90 degrees camera left and right, flagged wth cardboard to not spill on front (there's some spill i know)
sb-600 camera right up and looking down with a grid, aim in front of the model to cast just some light on her face.
